Its 97 hectares consist of a rolling landscape, ancient woodland, the River Cray and its adjacent woodlands and wildflower margins. Bexley Council organises several

WALKING

Cray Riverway
A three section 10 mile walk along the River Cray. Starts 1.9m walk or 2.9m drive from the site. Historical and ecological interest.

London LOOP
Section 1 - Starts at Erith Riverside, 9.5 miles easy walking, on pleasant paths beside three rivers, through parks and woodland, plus some less attractive urban areas. whole walk

Shuttle Riverway  
Three section 5m walk along the River Shuttle, a small tributary of the River Cray. Historical and ecological interest. Starts at Avery Hill Park.

Scadbury Park 
A circular walk is marked in this 300 acre site of historic interest. Also organised walks - see link.
